About Us

My Background

My career as a lawyer started shortly after I graduated from University. I had read Law as an undergraduate at Cambridge University and joined Linklaters in London in 2005.  Though it was a challenging role, the next 7 years at Linklaters provided an excellent environment in which to learn and develop my technical skills as a lawyer. I was fortunate enough to work with fantastic lawyers and mentors across the London, New York and Singapore offices of the firm, in the Derivatives & Structured Products group.

My time at Linklaters overlapped with the start of my career at Goldman Sachs in 2010.  I joined GS and spent the next 10 years as an Executive Director & Senior Counsel in Singapore, covering the Global Markets business for the region. I was appointed to the firm's global people development committee in 2015. It was during this time that I began my focus on building a better understanding of the techniques and tools we need to communicate well; to build professional relationships; and to manage our well-being in the workplace.

After leaving GS in 2020, I spent a short amount of time back in private practice, before deciding to follow my true passion, which you'll have guessed by now is to help people to succeed in their own careers. Having spent 18 years as a lawyer, I felt I'd be best able to provide that training to legal services professionals. In 2020, I established Iter Consulting to follow that path.

Three years in and, despite the challenges of the pandemic, I'm delighted with the way in which the training sessions and coaching have resonated with my clients.
